There's a reason that this piece of luggage has five-star reviews. With sleek elegance, tons of features to keep you fresh and organized, and a number 10 rating on our durability scale, the Briggs & Riley Baseline Domestic Carry-On Expandable Upright is the crème de la crème. Ballistic nylon fabric with corner guards resists wear, moisture, and dirt while a fiberglass frame provides flexibility and shape retention, giving you a bag that is both lightweight and built to last. Smooth rolling wheels with sturdy wheel housing and balance feet enable easy transport, and a tethered Smartlink strap allows you to attach other bags to tote two or more as one.
The Briggs & Riley Baseline Domestic Carry-On Expandable Upright is designed to keep you looking sharp on your business trips. An outsider handle system provides a flat packing space to keep your clothes wrinkle-free, and a small tri-fold suiter inside the top lid keeps 1-2 suits pristine. Sinch-down compression panels keep all your belongings in place during transit, and interior and exterior pockets help you organize. Perhaps the Domestic Carry-On Expandable Upright's best feature is its coveted CX expansion-compression system. Simply unclamp and raise the system to add 25% more packing space, then compresses and clamp back to original size for easy overhead storage. All of these great features come with an unbeatable Simple as That lifetime warranty.

"First off, I should note that I did not get the widebody 20" model, because I do sometimes travel internationally. If you only fly domestic (non-United), I'd look at the widebody.
When I first opened this up, it seemed smaller than advertised. But two things changed my mind:
1) The suiter: it keeps a full suit and 2 shirts, no problem. The icing: when I don't have a suit, the suiter area can hold a lot of clothes.
2) Compression system: When I decided to utilize B&R's compression system (expand the unit, fill it up, then compress), it fit a lot more than it did originally.
3) Front pocket is significant. I didn't have to use it, but nice to know it's there. Personally, I would prefer one medium size pocket for toiletries (so I don't have to open the bag @ TSA).
If you're traveling for 2-4 days, incorporate some international travel, and are smart about how you pack, you don't need the 20" widebody. This will work fine."

"Been a road warrior for 25+ years and have had several travel bags, both were in the crew 6 category and I have to say that the Briggs bag is the most awesomest bag ever and it keeps getting better, this bag will carry me over the finish line to retirement. "
