Perfect bag for light and fast travel, Jul 28, 2010

I like to travel light and this small tote is capable of being packed for a four to five day trip if you're an experienced, creative and compromising packer. After reading many reviews I though it would be too small but it is actually larger than I expected. The tote fits under the seat if you need it near you during the flight, or are on a small commuter flight. And the tote is so small compared to a regular carry-on it gets swallowed up by an overhead compartment, even one that is full, because the tote can be squeezed in on top of or in between the other larger bags. The totes small size is especially suited for international travel. There is a place for everything (passports, tickets, MP3 Players, cameras , books, sun glasses, phone, umbrella, etc.)inside the well organied pockets. There are four separate zippered areas and each has good use. You can pack the tote with heavier items and bring it onbaord the plane, which helps keep your checked bag below the maximum weight. I travel domestic and international and feel like I've got the right tote for my light and fast style of travel.

Quality is fine. Plan to go overseas with it as a carry on. It is smaller than I imagined but it will fit under a seat or in an overhead compartment.

Good quality but a problem with the first one that was sent, Apr 10, 2009

I ordered this as a companion to the 27" Tarmac. I was very surprised and annoyed to find that I was sent a used tote. I found a phone charger and a baggie of sugars and teas in one of the pockets. The previous owner carefully replaced the hang tag and cleaned off the wheels because other than a faint spot on one of the pockets, it looked new. I immediately contacted LuggageBase and they immediately sent a new one and included a prepaid Fed-X shipping lable so I could return the used tote. Very good customer service!
Tote is well-made, maybe a little smaller than I wanted but it's okay. It slips over the handle of my 27" tarmac but the tarmac's handle is completely covered which makes wheeling both at the same time a bit uncomfortable but it's okay,
