Worked great for my 3-day business trip, May 12, 2010
Reviewer: Kathy of Long Beach, CA
Used for first time on American flight. Definitely more lightweight than my previous bag. The flight attendant tried to make me check it as I was going down tarmack, but after putting it in their metal sizing rack, it fit perfectly. So there! Only wish--one or two more smaller pockets on the inside. Currently has two. Zippers seemed very sturdy, rolled really nicely. Perfect for a 2-3 night stay. Overall, great bag.

Max size carry on rollaboard fits the bill, Jan 01, 2010
Reviewer: Ed of Shady Shores/TX
To avoid bag fees what I was looking for was the largest carry on rollaboard in a quality product. This one fits the bill. With a 22 in length and 2 in expandable I was able to take it on a 6 day trip with a knapsack no problem. It did barely fit wheels in on an A320. Bag has lots of compartments including one small one on the side I am still not sure what it is for. Only thing I would like it to have is an underside handle for lifting, otherwise it would have gotten a 5.

Nice bag!, Aug 29, 2010
Reviewer: Geo of New jersey
I received my Travelpro Maxilite in a good amount of time. I checked the bag and all the zippers and belts were attached and functioning.
What I needed to do was to transfer my clothes and things from my old bad (American Tourister 22 inch - back when they were really 22 inch and 10 inch thick!)
Needless to say the bag is smaller than what I had (airline companies dropping the carry on sizes) and with the zippered extending section, it was gonna be OK. Actually, utilizing every nook and cranny I was able to transfer my things without a hitch. And no extending.
I really need to test the bag on the planes and see how it goes.
The wheels seem durable (maybe even changeable) and it rolls smooth. the pull handle fits me well. One con is that there is no attachment hook for the shoulder bag. You'll have to let it ride on the extended handle. Letting it stay lower to the ground, lower center of gravity) eases up on the strain on the shoulder and arm.
So far, so good. Lets fly with this puppy and see how it goes.
