Light does it right!

"When I saw this bag advertised, I thought that it would be a perfect match for my need. I travel back and forth between the US and India and usually need two checked bags flying one way, and one checked bag flying the other. This bag works perfectly for two reasons: First, the bag is just under 5 pounds, which is by far the lightest checked bag I have and it can haul a load! Second, the bag folds up to be a little smaller than a normal briefcase, so I can store it in my other checked bag or my carry on to eliminate the need to carry an empty checked bag back to the US every time I fly home.

So. . . it's light, it folds up, and it's big.

Warning: I have seen websites advertise that this bag is covered by Eagle Creek's "No Matter What" warranty, which is incorrect. It is covered by Eagle Creek's Lifetime Warranty, which is different, so know this going in."

Difficult to manuever when packed

"Bag is so lacking in strong supported sides and bottom that one has to lift the entire weight of the bag and truly drag it on its wheels.
The material used for the bag is obviously top quality in strength, but with the dragging one has to do, I can only imagine that it would be scuffed up easily. If you are going to travel lightly, this might work, but cumbersome for a solid check-on bag."

Great for shorter trips

"I used the Eagle Creek Crossroads when visiting family during Christmastime. It holds several days change of clothing. It's well made and good looking. The handle collapses into the top of the suitcase and is very sturdy when extended. It also has extra grip handles on the bottom and side to make grabbing it easier when removing from your car trunk or wherever. "

Arrived On Time, Well Made Luggage

"My order arrived on time. I have not have the opportunity to use it yet but will be traveling around Asia for a month starting late September. I have two other Eagle Creek luggages: a roller carry-on and a small bag. I have them for approximately 6 years and still use them in all my travel. They are very functional and the zippers are tought despite I often over stuff them. I expect this new one for checking in will perform as well.

I consider myself a frequent traveler and a Million Miler member with United Airlines."

AVery Reliable Brand

"Although I have not yet received this particular luggage, I had two other Eagle Creek bags before: one was a roller carry-on and the other was a small bag. I travel extensively all over the world and as been using these bags for 6 years or so and they are very functional, light but sturdy. I look forward for this bag as a check-in and expect the same quality product. A friend of mine had this bag and is very happy with it."
